SUMMER 2025 CLASSES: Dates, Times and Prices

Children's Program Classes


Ballet Purple
For any students ages 3 and 4.
In this class, children are exposed to basic ballet feet and arm positions and practice basic locomotor movements (marching, walking, and running). The activities in this class will also help students to develop musicality and rhythm. Creativity is encouraged. 
Students must be comfortable taking class without a parent.
Parents may watch the class through the classroom's glass windows.​
Ballet Pink
For any students ages 5 and 6.
Students learn basic ballet positions and movements. They develop their gross motor skills through locomotor movements (walking, skipping, running, and jumping) and their fine motor skills by holding and maneuvering props. Rhythm and musicality are also elements of this class. Students learn basic topics of the history of ballet and get familiar with ballet terminology, as well as traditional composers and choreographers.

Ballet Light Blue
Ages 7 and 8
Beginners welcomed.

In this class, students learn basic ballet arm and feet positions. Every class starts with floor warm up exercises. Barre exercises are introduced. Center exercises include jumps and ballet steps across the floor. Creativity is encouraged with dance improvisation. Focus on technique is part of this class.
Offered once or twice pre week.

Ballet Dark Blue 
Ages 9 and 10
Beginners welcomed.

In this class, students learn basic ballet arm and feet positions. Every class starts with floor warm up exercises. Barre exercises are introduced. Center exercises include jumps and ballet steps across the floor. Creativity is encouraged with dance improvisation. Focus on technique is part of this class.
​Offered once or twice pre week.
Ballet Silver
Ages 11 & Up.
In this class students learn and review basic ballet arm and feet positions. Every class starts with floor warm up exercises. Barre exercises are part of every class. Center exercises include jumps and ballet steps across the floor.
Ideal for students that have taken classes in the Ballet Dark Blue level and prefer to extend their training in the children's program before joining the pre professional program.
This class also fits students ages 11 or older, without previous ballet training or with previous ballet training, wishing to continue to train once per week.
Floor Barre
For any students older than 7.
This class is designed for ballet dancers, ballet students, as well as gymnasts and ice skaters.
Exercises are focused on strength and flexibility.
Beginners welcomed.
Tap Beginning Ages 6-8
For students ages 6-8.
This class focuses on basic tap sounds, the concepts of “tempo” and “rhythm,” and large and small locomotor movement. In so doing, it helps to provide a basic foundation for future dance study.

Tap Ages 9 to 12, Level I
For students ages 9 to 12.
​Beginners welcomed.
This class focuses on fundamental tap technique and musicality, incorporating a variety of musical genres as well as a cappella variations.  It begins exploring how to express music through both the body and tap sounds.

Tap Ages 10 and Older, Level II
For students ages 10 and older. 
Enrollment by placement only.
This class expands and refines tap technique, including improvisation.  It explores expressing narrative, character, and idea through tap.
Hip Hop Ages 6 - 8
For any child ages 6 to 8 that likes to dance. This class introduces children to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music. It includes a wide range of movements such as breaking, locking and popping.​

Hip Hop Ages 9-12
For any child ages 9 to 12 that likes to dance. This class introduces children to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music. It includes a wide range of movements such as breaking, locking and popping.​

Musical Theatre Dance Ages 6-8
For any child ages 6-8 that likes to dance and act. This class introduces children to styles of dance commonly found in musicals and is performed to showtunes.
Beginners welcomed.

Musical Theatre Dance Ages 9-12
For any child ages 9-12 that likes to dance and act. This class introduces children to styles of dance commonly found in musicals and is performed to showtunes. 
This is a mixed age and mixed level class.
Beginners welcomed.

Contemporary Dance Ages 7-10 
Genre of dance performance that developed during the mid-twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world. Its style combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet.
This is a mixed age and mixed level class.
​Beginners welcomed.

Contemporary 1 - By Placement:
Ages 10 to 12:
Genre of dance performance that developed during the mid-twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world. Its style combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet.
This class is for students that have at least one year of  ballet training, at a rate of 4 1/2 hours per week, or previous contemporary dance training.
 
 

Pre Professional Ballet Classes


During the summer, the Pre-Professional classes  are offered as part of our Summer Intensives.
Ballet Yellow
Enrollment by placement only.
The first level of the pre-professional program. Enrollment in this class is by placement only.
Contact us for a placement class. Three days a week enrollment required.

Ballet Green
Enrollment by placement only.

The second level​ of the pre-professional program. For ballet students with 3 or more years of ballet training, including one year at a rate of 4 or more hours per week. 
Ballet yellow completion preferred. 

Ballet Orange
Enrollment by placement only.
The third level of the pre-professional program.  For ballet students with 4 or more years of ballet training, including two years at a rate of 4 or more hours per week. 
Ballet green completion preferred. 

Ballet Red
Enrollment by placement only.

The fourth level of the pre-professional program.  For ballet students with 5 or more years of ballet training, including two years at a rate of 4 or more hours per week. 
Ballet Orange completion preferred. 

Ballet White
Enrollment by placement only.
The fifth level of the pre-professional program.  For ballet students with 6 or more years of ballet training, including four years at a rate of 4 or more hours per week. 
Ballet Red completion preferred.

Pre-Professional Ballet Program Contemporary 2:
Enrollment by placement only.

This class is for students that have at least two years of ballet training, at a rate of 4 1/2 hours per week.

Pre-Professional Ballet Program Contemporary 3:
Enrollment by placement only.

This class is for students that have at least three years of ballet training, at a rate of 4 1/2 hours per week.
Enrollment in our Pre-Professional Ballet Program classes required.

Pre-Professional Ballet Program Musical Theatre Dance:
Enrollment by placement only.​
Musical Theatre Dance class for students enrolled in the Pre-Professional Ballet Program.

Pre-Professional Conditioning:
Enrollment by placement only.
Conditioning class designed specifically for students enrolled in our Pre-Professional program, to help them with strength, flexibility and injury prevention.

Private Lessons in Ballet Technique and Variations
We offer private lessons in ballet technique for any students age or older.
We offer private lessons in variations for students of age 10 and older with more than 2 years of ballet experience.
Recommended for professional ballet dancers and ballet students engaged in international ballet competitions.

Adult Dance Classes


Ballet Adult Beginning
For adults and teenagers.

Beginners welcomed.

Adult Ballet Intermediate :
For adults and teenagers with at least one year of ballet experience.​
Enrollment in this class is by placement only. Please contact us if you are interested in registering for this class.​

Floor Barre
For any students ages 7 to adult.
This class is designed for ballet dancers and students, as well as gymnasts and ice skaters.
Exercises are focused on strength and flexibility.
Beginners welcomed.

Tap Intermediate and Advanced Ages 13 and older
For students with tap dance experience.
Placement in this class is determined by the teacher.
This class fits students that desires to improve rhythmic and complement dance training.
Movements combining elements of ballet and tap, often performed with jazz music.


Adult Contemporary Beginning Ages 13+
For adults and teenagers.

Beginners welcomed.
This class will look at classical modern forms while focusing on release based technique. This form teaches students how to utilize our connection to gravity to create movement and dance. This class is perfect for students looking to learn dance
